Before & After Wheel Repair

Real repairs from our Mesa shop — cracked rims welded, bends straightened, curb rash refinished. Captions describe exactly what each photo shows; some jobs are still being photographed, so finished shots are added as we get them.

Cracked Rim Repair

Cracked Multi-Spoke Wheel — Welded From the Backside

The wheel arrived with no center cap and a huge crack that someone had started to fix — then stopped. The buyer sealed it with JB Weld to get by. There isn't room to weld between the spokes, so the crack was TIG-welded from the backside, then the visible face was cleaned up to make the wheel presentable — and safe — again.

This set shows the backside of the wheel — there isn't room to weld between the spokes, so the repair happens where you can't see it. A finished-face photo is on the way.

Bent Wheel Straightening

26" Billet Intro Wheels — Bent, Straightened and Refinished

A set of 26-inch billet Intro wheels came in with bent barrels. Each wheel was straightened back to true, then refinished — the chrome hoops are straight and round again, ready to mount.

Cracked Rim Repair

Cracked Alfa Romeo Wheel — Welded, Machined, Refinished

This Alfa Romeo wheel came in with a crack along the inner bead. The crack was welded closed, then the weld was machined back smooth so the bead seats clean — and the wheel is refinished and safe to run again.

Curb Rash Repair

Full-Lip Curb Rash — Smoothed, Primed, Repainted

This wheel had really bad curb rash around the entire lip. The whole lip was gone around, smoothed out, primed, and repainted — so the repaired edge disappears into the factory black finish.
