Strip to Bare Metal

Old paint, clear, and corrosion are chemically stripped or media-blasted off so the new coat bonds to clean metal — not over a failing finish.

Repair & Prep

Any curb rash, pitting, or bends are corrected first. A powder coat only looks as good as the surface under it.

Powder & Cure

Electrostatic powder is applied and oven-cured at ~400°F, fusing into a single hard, even shell — thicker and tougher than liquid paint.

Clear & Reassemble

An optional UV-stable clear locks in color and gloss. Wheels are remounted, balanced, and ready to roll.

How much does it cost to powder coat wheels?+
Powder coating is quoted per set — price depends on wheel size, condition, whether the old finish needs stripping, and the color or finish you choose. Custom colors, candies, and two-tone work take more time and material. Send a photo of your wheels and we'll give you a firm, per-set quote.
Is powder coating better than painting wheels?+
For wheels, yes. Powder coating is applied as a dry powder and oven-cured into a single hard shell that's far more resistant to chips, brake dust, and curb scuffs than liquid paint. It also lays down more evenly with no runs.
How long does powder coating last on wheels?+
A properly stripped, prepped, and cleared powder coat commonly lasts 5–10 years or more. The biggest enemy in Arizona is UV, which is why we offer UV-stable clears that hold color and gloss through desert summers.
Can you powder coat over curb rash or bent wheels?+
We fix the wheel first. Curb rash is sanded and re-profiled and bends are straightened before any powder goes on — coating over damage just locks the flaw in under the finish.
